On March 8, The Niagara College Agriculture & Environmental Technologies Innovation Centre executes precision agriculture research projects in software, data analysis, sensor development, robotics, drone data gathering, and more.

Dr, Mike Duncan, the team’s Research Lead, will provide an overview of current and upcoming work to support modern farming. SoilOptix will also showcase their innovative soil sensing technology.

The interactive discussion will include:

A review of funding opportunities
Discussions of what precision agriculture solutions are needed
Where technology is going
A tour of the Walker Advanced Manufacturing and Agriculture & Environmental Technologies Innovation Centres.
